I have tried for years to understand my addiction to painting them, and I still don't have a good answer for you. They are beautiful, powerful, amazing, intoxicating. Each and every one has been a labor of love. The first few years of work was all painted in acrylic on canvas. Lately I have been branching out and trying oils.
